Okay, actually it’s not here at KateMovingForward, but I want to give a shout-out to my guy readers who are interested in health and fitness! I want to share with you some of the best (in my opinion) fitness resources for guys to check out to help them towards their healthy living goals!

Men’s Fitness Books
Alywn Cosgrove’s The New Rules of Lifting
I would recommend anything by the Alywn or his wife Rachel. They understand how to build great strength training and fat blasting workouts—I’ve used workouts created by Alwyn in the Women’s Big Book of Exercises—seriously, why haven’t you bought this book yet?). You will FEEL it!
Men’s Health Big Book of Exercises
I’m recommending this book based on how good their Women’s book is—seriously one of the best fitness investments I ever made. They break the book into chapters based on parts of the body you want to exercise, giving multiple exercises per muscle group. Then they teach you to put it all together and have workout plans you can follow along to as well.
Men’s Health and Fitness Blogs
Your Inner Skinny by Scott Thomson
Scott lost 110 pounds and shares his journey to health and fitness challenges on his blog! He is a personal trainer and owns his own gym now! He has a very direct, simple style that I like.
Frugal Fitness by Mike Schiemer
Mike has a million certifications as well and has a TON of workout videos online so you can get your fitness on for cheap. Also, his Facebook account is actually pretty amusing, cause he posts great cat photos like this one.
“Chewie the Vice President of Frugal Fitness and @reebok fan loves to #getafterit , and by “it” I mean naps! :)”
Pavement Runner by Brian Kelly
This blog (surprise, surprise) leans heavily into running and racing. He also posts sweet playlists too and I just love looking at his site—the web design is so pretty clean and tasteful, yet masculine.
Fitfluential actually has a lot of “Man-bassadors” you can feel free to check out their Man page and find a blog that you relate to and enjoy.
Guys, weigh in—where do you find encouragement or help with fitness related stuff?
