Hey there! Hope you had a great weekend! Layla and I had a great “Girls Weekend” with my sister!
We ate pizza, watched Frozen, went on walks, chilled around the house, and watched the entire BBC Pride and Prejudice! (It’s amazing what you have time for when you’re nursing all the time!) Aunt Becca also taught Layla the art of selfies.
I mentioned this on Instagram, but the gluten-free pizza dough crust we had was amazing! Like ridiculously, couldn’t-tell-the-difference good! The brand is glutino and I got in at Meijer—it made 2 12” crusts.
Then on Sunday we took Layla to church for the first time. She did GREAT! She was awake for a little bit listening to the music and then she dozed off during the preaching. #classic. Here’s the two of us after church.
Then we met up with my parents, brother, and Nate for lunch and hanging out in the afternoon. It was a nice way to spend the weekend.
My goals last week went pretty well. I didn’t make my fruit and veggie quota every day but got at least 4 everyday and 5 most days. I also did four “little” workouts—walking, yoga, and some easy strength moves. And did pretty good at getting my me time in—I managed to even paint my toenails! (It’s the little things!)
This week my body is actually telling me I need to sloow things down a bit, so for now I’m going to do just that. Hopefully by the end of the week I’ll feel more energetic, but for now I’m just putting my feet up! I need to get groceries to help facilitate the eating fruits and veggies——I’ve almost ate all we have in the house—but that’s one goal I want to keep up continually.
