5 Fall Soup Recipes

“It’s fall ya’ll!” I feel like this is the official fall motto of bloggers everywhere and maybe it’s just me, but I am kind of overwhelmed with the “fall-fall-fall” internet craze. #igetyoulikepumpkin.

So not to be another one of those annoying people, but I loved fall before it was cool. I have strong fall traditions. And they don’t just involve a pumpkin spice latte.

One of the traditions is making soup. So much soup. I pretty much have 3 soups on a strong rotation all fall and winter–potato, chili, and taco soup. But I like to mix things up with vegetable soup, steak, and the occasional chicken noodle. But this fall I’m planning to take things to another soup level by trying these yummy fall soups. 5 Fall Soup Recipes

Copycat Panera Autumn Squash Soup

So someone mentioned how much they love this soup from Panera and I’ve had it on my brain ever since. But because our eating out budget is limited and Nate isn’t crazy about Panera (what is wrong with him?), I think I’m going to make this copycat version at home. I’m so intrigued by adding apple cider to a soup!

Hamburger Soup

Yum! Doesn’t this hearty soup look amazing! I love all the vegetables in it and would definitely not be afraid to add more of water you have in your fridge. The Pioneer Woman is genius. (And I want that bowl!)

Slow Cooker Zuppa Toscana Soup

My friend makes this soup and it is stink’ good!  The flavor is so wonderful and it is creamy goodness I could eat for days. Which is great because normally when I make soup I freeze the leftovers and can literally eat it for days.

Healthy Potato Soup

Gosh, Kate, self-promoting much? Ha! Well, #sorrynotsorry this soup is too good not to share! It’s totally my comfort food and it’s only better if my mom makes it with warm homemade bread cut thick and slathered with strawberry jam. (that’s not the healthy part) But really this soup is awesome!

Tomato Bisque

I need to get on making this soup stat! I think it would pair deliciously with my Grilled Turkey & Mushroom sandwich and is so much better than eating the super-processed Campbells  canned tomato soup (who am I kidding, I buy off-brand soup). Plus, it freezes well!

So there are 5 fall soup recipes that are going on my meal plan! I like that soup is a low-stress dinner. You make the soup, you add a salad and you have a meal. Perfect.

What is your favorite kind of soup?
