Friday Loves #36

Happy Friday! I don’t know about you, but this week has flown by for me! Everyday with the babe is busy-busy! She is constantly changing and keeping me on my toes! I love it!  And it’s exhausting. Nate has been super-busy at work this week and I’ve definitely missed having an extra set of hands around at dinner and bedtime. Layla is a sweetie, but she definitely has a strong will and mind of her own too! I need lots of wisdom as we move into the toddler training days.

Food Loves:

Healthy Mint Breakfast “Milkshake”–Need an alternative to the Shamrock Shake? Here’s a great healthy option!

Skinny Queso–Two words you don’t see together often. I am very weak when it comes to queso so I’m looking forward to trying this lightened up version.

White Chocolate Cherry Trail Mix–this recipe kind of blew up my blog this week in the best possible way! Get. You. Sum. Trail mix with cherries and chocolate

Fitness Loves:

No Excuses Full Body Workout–Did this workout yesterday and I loved how fast-moving it was! You won’t get bored and you’ll get an all-body workout!

10 Minute Solution Knockout Body (<<<affiliate link)–I need another fitness dvd to kick around until it gets warmer and this one looked fun! I just got it yesterday so I can’t wait to give it a try! Also, the price was right at $7-8!

They were all in perfect condition too! I will definitely be visiting them again! If you want to check them out use this referral link and we will both get $10 to spend for FREE!! Erbody loves free!

Raspberries in Dark Chocolate–this stuff is so amazing! I love eating real, awesome chocolate in moderation. A big thanks to #fitfam member Jill Conyers for sending me this as an extra goodie in a prize pack! What a gal! Be sure to check out the Fitness Friday linkup for more great reads from her and others in the #fitfam!

Warmer Weather on the way–I’m just taking a little happy dance for a forecast that is above freezing and even reaching into the high 40s! Yes! I will take it. I’m so looking forward to family walks without fear of breaking an ankle! (And if the iphone weatherman is wrong…he will pay.)

warm days coming

Man, I can’t wait till spring! This winter has actually went pretty fast for a winter–keeping up with Layla and staying busy (with work, blog, small group, mops, library trips, outings) has helped. Hopefully you are getting some warm weather soon too!

Love PiYo! Only had the DVD for 5 days and not bored! Plus really enjoy Natalie Jill, but don’t like working out with YouTube! We have an old tv so hard to watch on my 6″ tablet.
I need that chocolate you have and will be checking out the links you have up on fitness! Have a great weekend and praying for warm temps so we can play outside next week!!

    1. Oooh that would be awesome! It kind of reminded me of Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 workout–in a good way. 😀

  2. I’ve seen sunshine in our forecast for next week too. Hopefully the weatherman is right! I love the combination of raspberries and dark chocolate. Yum!
