It’s the time of year when everything gets a little bit….spookier! I’m kind of excited this year to do a little bit more with Halloween (nothing scary, just fun!) like dressing Layla up, hosting our annual pumpkin carving party, and potentially even trick or treating!
Most Halloween parties are full of sugar-sugar-sugar! Lots of candy and sweet stuff, so it’s always nice to bring something healthy so you know there will at least be ONE healthy option there! I think it’s funny how often I do this (even as simple as a bowl of apples) and kids eat it up! Plus, there are so many cute ideas for healthy Halloween snacks and treats that the sky really is the limit! Here are some of my kiddie-friendly favorites:

Of course, we couldn’t save all the good stuff just for the kids! There are some amazing Halloween appetizers out there. Honestly, the gross-out factor (ie pumpkins vomiting guacamole) is NOT my thing. Food should look pretty. End of story. Bring the creepy in the decor or watching a scary movie. Thankfully there are endless gorgeous and delicious options out there like these guys:
