Whether you are running, biking, strength training, doing yoga, kickboxing, swimming, or playing frisbee I believe that fitness should kick your butt and make you smile at the same time. Always engage in a fitness activity that you enjoy because if you don’t love it you won’t stick with it. It’s also a good idea to mix it up often to keep your body constantly changing and your mind from getting bored!
My normal workout week is a mix of two or three days of cardio (normally running or kickboxing),two days of strength training, one day of yoga, and one day of rest. Even God took a day of rest. Right now I am training for my first full marathon so I am running 4 days a week and cross training twice a week with strength training or yoga.
